X-Ray Facility has several computers. They run under both Linux and Windows operating systems. Some of them are exclusively used to control the data collection from the automated area-detectors. Some (with stereo capabilities) are dedicated for model building. Others are used for data processing, data archiving, and other general purpose computations. |
