National High Magnetic
Field Laboratory is inviting the public to visit the
lab and meet and chat with our scientists and staff. 2007

Accurate
Prediction of Protein Association Rate
A theory pair from the Institute has been able to
accurately predict the association rate for proteins.
Professor H-.X. Zhou and Ramzi Alsallaq have published this
work in the journal Structure. Congrats to
them!
Quantitative Computational
Biophysics: Workshop
Institute of Molecular
Biophysics and School
of Computational Science are sponsoring a free workshop
entitled Quantitative Computational Biophysics to discuss
the main challenges ahead in the area of computational
biophysics. The workshop runs betwen February 18 and 21,

In the current round of (Round 11) Critical Assessment of Prediction
of Interactions (CAPRI) Prof. H-X. Zhou and
his post-doc Dr. Qin's scored best among 348 predictions
submitted by 36 groups around the world. More details are

Phenotype: Workshop
Department of Biological Sciences is hosting a workshop to
discusss the hiring efforts for the Integrating Genotype
& Phenotype cluster initiative. A workshop will be held
