Support

Applications are encouraged from qualified students with B.S., B.A., and M.S. degrees in Chemistry, Biology, Physics and other scientific disciplines. Students are admitted annually for the Fall semester. Only under special circumstances will the program consider admission for the Spring semester.

All MOB students receive financial support in the form of a stipend, insurance subsidy and tuition waivers covering the majority of fees. They are guaranteed continued support as long as they remain in good standing in the program.

Additionally, first year students receive a $2000 Personal Development Award for travel to conferences over their first two years. These funds are to enable them to attend scientific meetings and workshops whether or not they present research. Advanced students traveling to present research are eligible to be reimbursed up to $600 each year for travel costs. Application for admission into the MOB Graduate Program can be made between August and January 15 for the following Fall.
