We look forward to receiving applications from qualified students holding B.S., B.A., and M.S. degrees from diverse backgrounds including, but not limited to: biochemistry, biology, biophysics, chemistry, computer science, engineering, interdisciplinary sciences, materials science, mathematics, nanoscience, and physics. Students are admitted annually for the Fall semester; considerations for Spring semester admission occurs only under special circumstances. Review of completed applications begins in January for admission to the MOB Graduate Program for the following Fall.
There are two main components to submit when applying to the MOB Graduate Program: FSU's Graduate Application, and MOB's Internal Application.
FSU Graduate Application

Select from the list of Majors one of MOB's three areas of concentration:
- Molecular Biophysics
- Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology
- Computational Structural Biology
In the 'Recommendations' section of the online application system, you should enter the names and contact information for at least three (3) persons who will submit reference letters on your behalf. These persons should be familiar with your academic and research capabilities and potential. Recommendations must be submitted electronically via the online application system. FSU Graduate Admissions will notify the MOB Program when your FSU Application is complete.
