Machine Shop



The Shop

The machine shop located in the first floor of Kasha Laboratory is one of the research shops available to all the members of Institute of Molecular Biophysics. It has precision lathes, milling machines, and electrical saws and other machinery needed to design, build and repair equipments needed for research work.

The people

Mr. Wade Baggett with over twenty years of machine shop experience runs the machine shop. He has designed and repaired several small and medium equipment needed for research work during his service at the machine shop. Mr. Wade is also responsible for teaching people the proper use of auto-claves.

Accessories

The shop has precision lates, milling machines, drilling machines, electrical saw and other machinery needed for machining stainless steel, alumninum and delrin.
