Common Equipment Labs

The Facility

Common equipment labs are located in the second and fifth floors of Kasha Laboratory. These labs house shared-equipments such as high-speed centrifuges, ultra-cold refrigerators, incubator-shakers, and autoclaves.

The people

Mr. Rick (Yin) Wang (645-3309; wang@sb.fsu.edu) with over twenty years of experience in electronics and equipments maintains these labs. Rick Wang and Wade Baggett (644-1419; rbaggett@fsu.edu) are responsible for training people the proper use of all the equipments in the common labs.

Accessories

These labs have Innova 4330 incubators shakers, Beckman Avanti centrifuges (J-25 & J-20 XPI), Thermo Forma ultra colds, Beckman J2-21 spectrophotometer, and small and medium-sized electrical and electronic equipments.
